The Summit Restaurant & Bar at Mount Coot-tha, Brisbane, is seeking a hands-on Functions & Events Supervisor to lead the events team from bump-in to bump-out and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You’ll coordinate weddings, corporate functions and private events in a stunning lookout venue.

Reporting to the management team, you’ll work closely with clients, kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service, high standards and memorable occasions.

Competenze

• Experience in functions or events supervision in hospitality.
• RSA certification and Australian work rights.
• Ability to lead and coach a team in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.

Mansioni

• Coordinate and supervise functions and events from bump-in to bump-out.
• Lead and support the functions team to deliver guest experiences.
• Oversee room setups, table layouts, event styling and service.
• Collaborate with clients, management, kitchen and bar to meet standards.
• Maintain communication with clients before and during events.
• Manage staff allocation, run sheets, service standards and operations.
• Be hands-on during service to keep events on track.
• Ensure RSA, food safety and WHS compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery, team performance and guest satisfaction.
