Job summary

Westgold Resources Limited in Western Australia seeks a seasoned maintenance technician to maintain and service processing plant infrastructure across SAG and ball mill circuits. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and support preventative maintenance while following safety and compliance standards.

The role offers a full-time permanent position at Fortnum site with an 8 days on, 6 days off roster and options for FIFO, DIDO, or residential arrangements, along with leadership

Qualifications

• Current C Class WA driver’s licence.
• Relevant Trade Qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Fixed Plant Maintenance team.
• Experience in Sag/Ball Mill Operations.
• Forklift Licence (desirable).
• Confined Space Ticket (desirable).
• Working at Heights Ticket (desirable).
• Shut down planning and managing experience.
• Sound working knowledge of gold processing plants – crushing, milling, gravity, leaching, and reagent circuits.
• Experience with CMMS such as Pronto (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service processing plant infrastructure.
• Perform fault-finding, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on mechanical components, including lubrication systems, gearboxes, and centrifugal pumps.
• Identify and diagnose items of the plant that require preventative maintenance or repair.
• Actively participate in maintenance planning activities.
• Maintain detailed maintenance history in Pronto.
• Attend call outs as per call out roster.
• Collaborate with your team to develop and maintain efficient and productive maintenance processes.
• Be visible and provide mentoring and leadership to your teams.
• Promote a high level of safety awareness, lead from the front and by example.
• Liaise with Contractors and Stakeholders as required.
