Job summary

Genesis Minerals Limited is seeking a Fixed Plant Electrician to maintain and improve the reliability of our fixed plant gold processing facilities in Laverton. You will ensure safe and efficient operation of critical processing equipment and report to the Electrical Team Lead.

This permanent full-time role features an 8 days on, 6 days off roster with FIFO from Perth to Laverton or DIDO from Kalgoorlie. A competitive salary and site bonuses are offered, along with ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Relevant and recognised Electrical Trade Qualification.
• Current WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical Worker’s Licence.
• High Voltage (HV) Switching or High Voltage Licence.
• Exposure to instrumentation and control systems.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within a mining or processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient electrical maintenance for the processing plant to operate safely and reliably.
• Support the Maintenance Team to achieve production targets and optimise gold recovery.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and Australian Standards.
• Contribute to safety and a positive team culture while completing tasks responsibly.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
