Avenues Early Learning Centre – Norman Park is seeking a passionate Lead Educator to join our team. This permanent part-time role (37.5 hours per week) requires availability Monday to Friday, 7am–6pm, across five days at our Norman Park centre.

We value ongoing PD, a supportive culture, and staff discounts. You will lead other educators, deliver high-quality educational programs, and place children at the heart of decision making within our caring team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lead other educators and deliver educational programs.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and motivate staff to excel.
• Ensure EYLF/NQS compliance and documentation.

The role

We are currently seeking a passionate Lead Educator to join our team at our Norman Park centre

Must be available 5 days per week between the hours of 7am-6pm Monday to Friday.

Skills and experience

Recognised Early Childhood Qualification - Diploma

A strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS

Current First Aid

Current Anaphylaxis training

Current CPR Training

Geccko- Child Safety certificates.

Hold a current Working with Children Check

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
