About Us:

At our Exceeding Centre, Benowa Early Learning Centre, part of Childcare Centre's of Excellence Pty Ltd, we strive to give the children in our care a diverse range of experiences, create strong connections and relationships and help them acquire a wealth of new skills and knowledge through our play-based curriculum.

Our play-based curriculum is designed to nurture strong connections, foster inclusivity, and encourage exploration of their surroundings. We understand and implement the importance of inclusivity in all aspects of learning and allow child led moments, connecting with their natural surroundings and following their interests. This is all fueled by nutritionist approved and designed seasonal menus with fresh, local produce sourced daily to support their developing bodies.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare engaging and child-safe environments and learning activities tailored to the developmental needs of babies and toddlers, focusing on their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
• Uphold regulatory requirements according to the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, delivering exceptional education and care.
• Support the implementation of daily routines while ensuring that each child’s individual needs are met, including feeding, naptime, and play.
• Observe and reflect on babies and toddlers’ progress, adjusting activities to foster their ongoing development and interests.
• Build strong relationships with families and colleagues to understand and accommodate each child's needs and preferences.
• Foster positive behaviours and social skills by encouraging independence, exploration, and problem-solving in a nurturing environment.
• Lead and mentor fellow educators, creating a safe, clean, and healthy setting for our youngest children.
• Complete documentation in a professional, consistent and timely manner.
• Supervise and engage children in all daily activities
• Contribute to team meetings, collaborate on educational programs, and assist with administrative tasks related to our youngest learners.

What We're Looking For
