Job summary

UCA Queensland Forest Lake is seeking a Lead Educator for a permanent part-time role (37.5 hours per week). You will lead play-based learning, mentor colleagues and contribute to a warm, community-focused centre.

You will plan EYLF/QKLG-aligned programs, build strong relationships with children and families, and step into the Responsible Person role when required. Competitive rates with above-award pay considered and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ACECQA-equivalent required or higher.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Lead Educator.
• Demonstrated knowledge of EYLF, QKLG and NQF.
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid/CPR/Asthma & Anaphylaxis

Requirements

About You

You’ll bring a genuine passion for early childhood education, along with the confidence to lead and support others.

You’ll have:

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA-approved equivalent
• At least 1 year experience as a Lead Educator
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF, QKLG and NQF
• Confidence in documenting and assessing children’s learning
• Strong communication, collaboration and leadership skills
• Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
• A passion for creating joyful and meaningful learning experiences for children
