Job summary

Busy Bees at Mitchelton is seeking a passionate Lead Educator to join our team in Mitchelton, QLD. This full-time role leads the daily learning program, supports educators, and fosters a safe, engaging environment where children thrive.

You will hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-equivalent) with current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certs, and a QLD Working with Children Check. The role emphasizes leadership and community collaboration.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Current Working with Children Check for QLD.
• Demonstrated experience leading a room within an early learning environment.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS).

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF.
• Inspire and mentor Educators within your room.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the local community.
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and centre policies.
