Job summary

Busy Bees at Mitchelton is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our team on a full-time basis. You will lead the daily learning program in your room, support educators, and help create a safe, engaging environment where children thrive.

You will plan and implement high-quality programs aligned with the EYLF, mentor staff, collaborate with families and the local community, and ensure compliance with the NQF and centre policies while supporting children's development through

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Current Working with Children Check for Queensland.
• Experience leading a room within an early learning environment.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS).

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF.
• Inspire and mentor Educators within your room.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the local community.
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and centre policies.
• Support children's development, wellbeing, and learning outcomes through engaging play-based experiences.
