Job summary

Busy Bees at Mitchelton seeks a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to oversee the daily learning program in your room and mentor the team. You will foster a safe, engaging environment where children thrive and families feel connected to the centre and community.

You will lead planning aligned with EYLF, support educators, and ensure compliance with NQF. A Diploma in ECEC and current first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis certificates are required, along with a valid QLD Working with

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
• Current Working with Children Check for QLD
• Demonstrated experience leading a room in an early learning environment
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF
• Inspire and mentor Educators within your room
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the local community
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and centre policies
• Support children’s development, wellbeing, and learning outcomes through engaging play-based experiences
