Busy Bees at Burpengary East in Brisbane, Australia, is seeking a Lead Educator for a full-time role. You will lead the daily learning program, mentor educators, and ensure a safe, engaging environment where children thrive.

Applicants should hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent), have current First Aid and CPR, a Queensland Working with Children Check, and proven leadership in an early learning setting. EYLF and NQS knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Current Working with Children Check for QLD.
• Demonstrated experience leading a room within an early learning environment.
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS).

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF
• Inspire and mentor Educators within your room
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the local community
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and centre policies
• Support children’s development, wellbeing, and learning outcomes through engaging play-based experiences
