Job summary

Busy Bees at Coorparoo is seeking a Lead Educator to lead the daily learning program, mentor educators and create a safe, engaging environment where children thrive.

The role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA‑approved equivalent), current First Aid/CPR, a Working with Children Check (QLD), and strong EYLF/NQS knowledge; Busy Bees supports ongoing professional development and career progression.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA‑approved equivalent).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Current Working with Children Check for QLD.
• Demonstrated experience leading a room within an early learning environment.
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• A collaborative and supportive leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF Inspire and mentor Educators within your room.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the local community.
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and centre policies.
• Support children’s development, wellbeing, and learning outcomes through engaging play-based experiences.
