Job summary

KAL Child Care & Development Centres – Currumbin QLD is seeking a passionate, Diploma-qualified Lead Educator to join us part-time. Our centre operates Monday to Friday, 6:45 am to 6:15 pm, with shifts across opening, closing and lunch-cover.

As Lead Educator you will lead your room team, plan and reflect on children’s learning, mentor staff, build strong family relationships, and maintain an engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma-qualified Lead Educator with relevant experience in early childhood settings.
• First Aid and CPR certifications, or willingness to obtain within 3 months of commencement.
• Valid Working with Children Check (Queensland Blue Card) and completed Child Protection training.

About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate, caring Diploma-qualified Lead Educator to join us part-time. Our centre is open Monday to Friday, 6:45 am to 6:15 pm, and this role calls for availability across five days, including opening, closing and lunch-cover shifts.

As a Lead Educator, you will:

You'll Need

• A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or be actively working towards your Diploma.
• Relevant experience in an early childhood setting, including supporting or leading a room team.
• First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of commencement).
