Job summary

G8 Education is seeking a Diploma-qualified Lead Educator for Community Kids Yandina Early Education Centre 1. You will lead and inspire a small team to create a high-quality, play-based learning environment for children aged 0–5.

The role offers flexibility in full-time or part-time arrangements and access to extensive benefits across G8 Education’s network, including professional development and staff wellbeing resources.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Proven educator experience with ages 0–5.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Current Working with Children Check / Blue Card / DCSI clearance.
• First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 74 children with operating hours from 6:00am to 6:00pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check / Blue Card / DCSI Clearance
• First Aid certificate
