Job summary

G8 Education Ltd is seeking a Diploma-qualified Lead Educator to join Crest Road Early Learning Centre as Educational Leader in the preschool room. The full-time role offers 38 hours per week and a supportive team environment, with opportunities to advance within G8’s network of centres.

You will guide staff, implement EYLF/NQS-aligned programs, and contribute to a high-quality early learning environment for children aged 0–5 years. Strong communication and WHV checks are required.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Good understanding of the Educational Leader role and how to support staff to develop the educational program.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (0–5 years).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current Working with Vulnerable People Card.
• First Aid certificate/ CPR (desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the educational program in the preschool room.
• Support and guide staff to develop the educational program.
• Foster a safe, engaging learning environment with indoor/outdoor spaces.
• Collaborate with team to ensure high-quality learning experiences for children aged 0–5.

Crest Road Early Learning Centre is offering an exceptional candidate a lead educator /Educational leader role within our fun-loving, supportive team. You will be a passionate, dedicated professional who strives to build and maintain an outstanding learning environment for our children.

This role is full time permanent working 38 hours per week. Working in the preschool room.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 90 children with operating hours from 7:00am to 6:00pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• Good understanding of the Educational Leader role and how to support and guide staff to develop the educational program.
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Vulnerable People Card
• First Aid certificate/ CPR (desired)
