Job summary

Edge Early Learning in Gordonvale (QLD) invites an experienced Lead Educator to join our team. You will mentor staff, deliver engaging programs aligned to the EYLF, and collaborate with the Centre Director and Educational Leader to shape a positive centre culture.

You will lead Nursery/Toddler/Kindergarten/Float Room, foster safe, inclusive learning environments, build strong relationships with children and families, and drive continuous improvement and quality outcomes across the service.

Qualifications

• Diploma holders: minimum 2 years' Lead Educator experience.
• Graduate Diploma/Master of Teaching: 3-4 years' Educator experience or 2+ years' Lead Educator experience in Australian long day care.
• Experience leading a room in a long day care setting.
• Confidence mentoring other educators.
• Strong understanding of the NQF and EYLF.
• Passion for creating engaging learning environments.

Compliance Documentation

• Working with Children Check, mandatory
• National Child Safety Training (GECCKO)
• RRHAN Fundamentals & Masterclass (SA where applicable)
• ACT Child Abuse and Neglect Training (where applicable)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
