Job summary

Edge Early Learning in Adelaide is seeking an inspiring Lead Educator to mentor staff, deliver engaging EYLF-aligned programs and support the Centre Director and Educational Leader in building a positive, inclusive learning culture.

You will lead a Nursery, coach educators, foster strong relationships with children and families, and drive continuous improvement across the long day care setting. This role requires a Diploma or Graduate Diploma in Teaching and relevant Australian experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma holders: 2+ years Lead Educator experience.
• Graduate Diploma/Master of Teaching: 3–4 years Educator experience or 2+ years Lead Educator in Australian long day care.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or recognised equivalent at Children's Services Employee Level 4+)
  OR Graduate Diploma / Masters of Teaching with the required long day care experience

Experience (within a long day care setting)

• Diploma holders: minimum 2 years' Lead Educator experience.
• Graduate Diploma/Master of Teaching: 3-4 years' Educator experience or 2+ years' Lead Educator experience in Australian long day care.
• Experience leading a room in a long day care setting
• Confidence mentoring other educators
• Strong understanding of the NQF and EYLF
• Passion for creating engaging learning environments

• Working with Children Check, mandatory
• National Child Safety Training (GECCKO)

• RRHAN Fundamentals & Masterclass
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
