Edge Early Learning in Ipswich is seeking a Lead Educator to inspire and guide a team in delivering high-quality early childhood programs.

You will mentor educators, deliver engaging EYLF-aligned activities, build strong relationships with children and families, and contribute to a positive centre culture in a supportive environment.

About the Role:

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or recognised equivalent at Children’s Services Employee Level 4+)OR Graduate Diploma / Masters of Teaching with the required long day care experience

Experience (within a long day care setting)

• Diploma holders: minimum 2 years' Lead Educator experience.
• Graduate Diploma/Master of Teaching: 3–4 years' Educator experience or 2+ years' Lead Educator experience in Australian long day care.
• Experience leading a room in a long day care setting
• Confidence mentoring other educators
• Strong understanding of the NQF and EYLF
• Passion for creating engaging learning environments

Compliance Documentation

• Working with Children Check, mandatory

• Availability to work opening and/or closing shifts is required.
