Job summary

Little Big People Early Learning in Durack, Brisbane is seeking a Lead Educator to inspire and guide a team of educators, delivering high-quality early learning and care.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with the Educational Leader on curriculum planning, support induction, and contribute to a positive, safe environment for children.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as Lead Educator.
• Diploma or ACECQA equivalent qualification or working towards it.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates.
• Valid Working with Children's Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support educators within the room to ensure high-quality education and care practices.

Task & responsibilities

• Lead and support educators within the room to ensure high-quality education and care practices.
• Collaborate with the Educational Leader to enhance educational practices, support reflective practice, and improve curriculum planning and documentation processes.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and role modelling to educators and students.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative team culture.
• Support the induction of new educators and assist with their integration into the service.
• Communicate operational and educational matters effectively with the Nominated Supervisor and leadership team.
