Job summary

Children First Early Education Keperra is seeking an experienced Lead Educator to join our growing team and lead our room to success. This permanent part-time position (Mon-Fri, up to 37.5 hours per week) offers above award wages, staff discounts, and professional development opportunities within a first-class childcare setting.

You will promote an inclusive, safe and stimulating learning environment, build strong relationships with families and the community, and lead planning while supporting

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification (or studying towards) in Children’s Services as approved by ACECQA.
• Current Blue Card, approved First Aid, National Child Safety (Gecko) Training, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications.
• Experience in an early childhood setting.
• Sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF.
• Experience leading a classroom and writing educational programs.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor peers.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, colleagues and the community.
• Ensure health, safety and centre policies, licensing, legislation and regulations are followed.
• Contribute to the operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues and collaborating in the team.
