Expeditions Early Learning Journey is seeking an experienced Lead Educator at our Underwood service to lead a room, mentor fellow Educators and deliver a high-quality EYLF-aligned learning program for children.

As Lead Educator, you will play an important role in creating a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment where children can explore, discover and thrive.
Working alongside our leadership team, you will lead a room with confidence, support and mentor fellow Educators, and deliver a high-quality educational program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
You'll bring energy, creativity and a genuine passion for early childhood education while fostering strong relationships with children, families and your team.
You are an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Educator who leads by example and thrives in a collaborative environment.
You understand the importance of creating meaningful learning experiences and take pride in building nurturing relationships with children and their families. You enjoy supporting and mentoring others while contributing to a positive and professional team culture.
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
Current Working with Children Check
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
Experience working as a Lead Educator or in a similar room leadership role
Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
Confidence in planning, documenting and evaluating children's learning
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A positive attitude, team-focused approach and passion for high-quality early education
Two professional references, including one from a supervisor or manager within the education or childcare sector
