Job summary

Little Big People Early Learning is looking for a Lead Educator to join our team in Brisbane. You will lead and support educators to provide high-quality education and care, fostering creativity and collaboration in a supportive environment.

The role emphasizes mentoring, curriculum development, and strong communication with leadership to ensure consistent, reflective practices across the service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Lead Educator.
• Diploma or ACECQA equivalent qualification.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support educators within the room to ensure high-quality education and care practices.
• Collaborate with the Educational Leader to enhance educational practices, support reflective practice, and improve curriculum planning and documentation processes.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and role modelling to educators and students. Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative team culture.
• Support the induction of new educators and assist with their integration into the service. Communicate operational and educational matters effectively with the Nominated Supervisor and leadership team.

Task & responsibilities

Our lead educator superstar will: Lead and support educators within the room to ensure high-quality education and care practices.

Qualification & experience
