Job summary

Australian Venue Co is seeking enthusiastic Duty Managers to lead across our Darwin venues, overseeing daily operations in food, beverage and gaming, and delivering outstanding guest experiences.

We value hands-on leadership, strong communication and a passion for hospitality, with 1–2 years in fast-paced settings and willingness to work evenings, weekends and late closes where needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Supervisor or similar hospitality leadership role.
• At least 1–2 years of hospitality experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment.
• Strong bar and customer service experience with the confidence to lead busy service periods.

Responsibilities

• Leading day-to-day venue operations across food, beverage and gaming.
• Delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high service standards.
• Coaching, developing and motivating front-of-house teams.
• Opening and closing the venue, including late-night trading where required.
• Supporting labour management, venue presentation and operational compliance.
• Managing cash handling, end-of-day reconciliation and venue reporting.
• Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally.
• Working closely with the Venue Manager to drive operational success.
