Job summary

Adina Vibe Hotel Darwin Waterfront in Darwin, NT is seeking a Duty Manager who will lead daily hotel operations, support front office staff and ensure seamless guest experiences across check-in/out, CRM and F&B where applicable.

The role requires a people-focused leader with empathy, strong communication, and the ability to manage shifts, reporting, rosters, and guest requests while upholding TFE Hotels standards.

Qualifications

• You hold a current RSA Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
• You ideally have 1–2 years’ prior experience in a similar role and property.
• You can meet the demands of constant standing, walking and lifting up to 20 kgs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily hotel operations and oversee front office teams.
• Encourage teamwork, initiative and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate shift tasks and delegate to receptionists.
• Ensure smooth check-in/check-out, CRM use and cash handling.
• Conduct daily briefings and manage guest communications.
• Sell hotel services and assist with special guest requests.
• Resolve guest complaints following procedures and policies.
• Maintain accurate guest accounts and oversee ATM/credit procedures.
• Assist with rosters, recruitment, and performance reviews.
