Job summary

ACCIONA is delivering a transmission project in Melbourne, seeking a lead for document control. You will mentor a team of Document Controllers and project administrators, train teams on systems, and ensure accurate, traceable documents across engineering, construction and commercial workflows.

You will audit documentation, monitor turnaround times, and report on performance while driving consistency and secure information movement between teams, clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or Diploma in records or business administration.
• Document control experience on infrastructure or major projects.
• Experience managing project documents in a recognised system.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and SharePoint.
• Desirable: records, information or document control certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead document control across the project and set clear procedures.
• Mentor Document Controllers and project administrators, and train teams on systems.
• Manage numbering, revision control, transmittals and workflows in the project system.
• Protect document integrity, security and traceability through audits and quality checks.
• Meet contractual, ISO and company document requirements across the project.
• Partner with project teams, clients and subcontractors to resolve document issues.
• Report on turnaround times and overdue approvals, and improve workflows.
