Job summary

Circuit Recruitment Group is seeking an onsite Lead Data Centre Operations Engineer in Sydney to lead the deployment of AI and HPC infrastructure across customer data centres. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating onsite teams, vendors and subcontractors to install, commission and obtain customer sign-off on high-density compute environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with rack & stack, cabling, power and cooling.
• Experience supervising field teams, contractors or subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of high-density data centre environments.
• Experience with GPU/AI infrastructure or HPC deployments is highly desirable.

Job description

• Based in Sydney | Onsite / Travel | Shift Work
• Up to $200K

We're partnering with a leading organisation looking for Lead Data Centre Operations Engineer's to lead the onsite deployment of high-performance computing (HPC) and AI infrastructure across customer data centres.

This is an onsite lead role for someone who knows data centre infrastructure inside out and can take a deployment from site readiness and logistics through to installation, commissioning and customer signoff.

You'll coordinate onsite teams, vendors and subcontractors while working closely with engineering, facilities and customer stakeholders to make sure complex AI infrastructure is installed safely, correctly and to specification.
