Job summary

Auxo Talent is recruiting for Data Centre Installation Foremen to lead activities on Adelaide data centres, supervise subcontractors and ensure safe, high‑standard installation work across multiple sites. This is a 12-month contract with potential extensions, including an initial night shift from 11pm to 7am.

You will oversee rack builds, electrical and cooling installs, and coordinate with technical teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering installations within data centres or critical infrastructures.
• Previous Foreman or Site Supervisor experience.
• Ability to supervise subcontractors and coordinate multiple activities.
• Strong knowledge of site safety, quality and installation standards.
• Experience across electrical, mechanical, cooling, rack, cabling or commissioning environments.
• Clear communication with technical teams and site stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors and installation teams across active data centre sites.
• Coordinate daily site activities and ensure work is completed safely and to specification.
• Oversee rack builds, equipment installation and associated data hall works.
• Support the installation of GPU and high-density compute infrastructure.
• Coordinate electrical, DC power, HVAC, cooling, networking and structured cabling activities.
• Monitor installation quality, progress and site readiness.
• Identify and resolve site issues in collaboration with technical and project teams.
• Support testing, commissioning and operational handover.

Our client is a global technology solutions provider delivering a major AI infrastructure program across multiple data centres.

With several contract opportunities available, they are looking for experienced Data Centre Installation Foremen who can lead activity on the floor, supervise subcontractors and help deliver complex installation work safely and to a high standard.

What you’ll do:

• Supervise subcontractors and installation teams across active data centre sites
• Coordinate daily site activities and ensure work is completed safely and to specification
• Oversee rack builds, equipment installation and associated data hall works
• Support the installation of GPU and high-density compute infrastructure

Skills you’ll bring:

• Experience delivering installations within data centres or critical-infrastructure environments
• Previous experience as a Foreman, Site Supervisor, Installation Supervisor, Lead Technician or similar
• The ability to supervise subcontractors and coordinate multiple installation activities
• Strong knowledge of site safety, quality and installation standards
• Experience across electrical, mechanical, cooling, rack, cabling or commissioning environments
• Clear communication and the confidence to work with technical teams, subcontractors and site stakeholders
• Experienced Senior Data Centre Technicians will also be considered where they have the technical depth, leadership capability and confidence to step into a supervisory role
