Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Solutions Architect to join the Sydney team, designing and delivering enterprise-grade compute, storage, networking, and data centre solutions with a growing focus on AI, GPU, and HPC infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with customers, sales teams, technology partners, and engineering to translate complex requirements into scalable architectures.

The role spans from technical discovery through PoCs and RFPs, involving multi-GPU and multi-node deployments,

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure architecture or technical presales.
• Background in AI/ML infrastructure is advantageous.
• Experience across AI, GPU and HPC environments, data centre infrastructure and enterprise server architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Design end-to-end AI, GPU and HPC infrastructure solutions.
• Architect compute, GPU, storage and networking environments.
• Design multi-GPU and multi-node infrastructure.
• Develop technical proposals, architecture diagrams and Bills of Materials.
• Support the sales team through the presales process.
• Lead customer workshops and technical presentations.
• Support RFPs and major customer opportunities.
• Collaborate with leading technology vendors and partners.
• Provide guidance on performance, scalability and infrastructure design.
• Support Proofs of Concept and demonstrations.
• Work with engineering teams through solution design and deployment.

The organization is currently on the lookout for a Solutions Architect to join its Sydney team, designing and delivering infrastructure solutions for enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of AI, GPU compute, networking, storage, and data centre technology, collaborating closely with customers, sales teams, technology partners, and engineering teams to understand complex technical requirements and design scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Leading technical discovery sessions with customers
• Designing end to end AI, GPU and HPC infrastructure solutions
• Architecting compute, GPU, storage and networking environments
• Designing multi GPU and multi node infrastructure
• Developing technical proposals, architecture diagrams and Bills of Materials
• Supporting the sales team throughout the presales process
• Leading customer workshops and technical presentations
• Supporting RFPs and major customer opportunities
• Working with leading technology vendors and partners
• Providing technical guidance around performance, scalability and infrastructure design
• Supporting Proof of Concepts and technical demonstrations
• Working alongside engineering teams through solution design and deployment

Skills/Must Have:

• A strong background in infrastructure architecture, solutions architecture or technical presales.
