Job summary

Circuit Recruitment Group is seeking an onsite Lead Data Centre Operations Engineer in Sydney to lead the deployment of AI and HPC infrastructure across customer data centres. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating onsite teams, vendors and subcontractors to install, commission and obtain customer sign-off on high-density compute environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with rack & stack, cabling, power and cooling.
• Experience supervising field teams, contractors or subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of high-density data centre environments.
• Experience with GPU/AI infrastructure or HPC deployments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite deployment of AI / HPC and high-density compute infrastructure.
• Coordinate installation teams, vendors and subcontractors.
• Oversee rack & stack, structured cabling, PDUs, power, grounding and connectivity.
• Manage site readiness across power, cooling, floor loading, space, access and logistics.
• Coordinate hardware deliveries, inventory, staging and installation schedules.
