Job summary

UNSW Kensington Campus in Sydney invites applications for a Team Leader in Credit Transfer & RPL within Admissions. The role leads a small team, overseeing credit assessments and related processes to ensure timely and accurate outcomes prior to enrolment.

You will drive policy alignment, staff capability, and quality assurance, reporting to the Prior Learning Assessment Manager. Hybrid flexibility is provided, with a fixed-term commitment to July 2027.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience assessing complex and escalated credit transfer, advanced standing and RPL applications.
• Experience in higher education student services and administration with data reporting systems.
• Knowledge of university program structures (desirable).
• Proven leadership of a team and ability to drive process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of a team, including rostering, service delivery, and staff recruitment, training, supervision and development.
• Lead the assessment of complex credit transfer, advanced standing and RPL applications.
• Provide expert advice to applicants, academic staff and admissions officers on credit, advanced standing and prior learning recognition.
• Manage the credit precedent database implementation and maintenance.
• Provide insight and analysis of customer trends and process improvements.
• Compile and present detailed reports on data and metrics to inform operational efficiency and compliance with TEQSA.
• Contribute to student services strategy and continuous improvement projects.
• Contribute to design and review of credit-related procedures and templates.
