Job summary

UNSW Kensington Campus is seeking a fixed-term Admissions Team Leader to oversee day-to-day admissions processing across faculties. You will lead, develop and support a team of up to eight Admissions Officers, ensuring high-quality service, accurate assessments, and smooth workflows throughout the admissions cycle.

The role is hybrid with Monday to Friday work, reporting to the Operations Manager, and ends in October 2027 (parental leave contract).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Admissions Officers handling daily and peak workloads
• Ensure fair and transparent admissions decisions aligned with policy
• Guide staff to meet service level agreements for application processing and enquiries
• Assess applicant eligibility and oversee records accuracy
• Collaborate with faculties and Scholarships to support admissions operations
• Train staff, improve processes, and maintain documentation
• Manage escalated cases and promote customer service excellence
• Contribute to reports and continuous improvement initiatives
