Job summary

Ahara Group’s My Dish production kitchen in Castle Hill is seeking an experienced Lead Cook to own bulk production and supervise a small team. You will manage start-to-finish meal preparation with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.

You’ll start early, batch-cook on large commercial equipment, control food cost and forecasting, train cooks, and ensure batch sheets are followed while keeping stations clean, safe and fast.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a commercial kitchen.
• Ability to start early and maintain a fast pace.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Follow recipes and batch sheets precisely.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily bulk production alongside our Head Chef.
• Lead food cost, portion standards, forecasting and ordering.
• Train and support our cooks.
• Batch-cook our meals on large commercial equipment.
• Follow recipes and batch sheets to the letter.
• Keep your station clean, safe and running fast.
