Job summary

Metrowest is seeking a commercially astute Building Maintenance Supervisor to lead field-based teams across general building upkeep and commercial fit-outs in Perth. This hands-on role requires strong technical knowledge, practical problem-solving and the ability to coordinate day-to-day priorities while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Reporting to the Building Services Maintenance Manager, you will manage scheduling, drive project delivery, and foster strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Carpentry trade qualification required.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience or running your own business.
• Exposure to estimating/quoting is highly regarded.
• Unlimited work rights in Australia.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Commercial experience in construction, maintenance, facilities management, or trade services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field-based teams across general building maintenance and commercial fit-outs.
• Coordinate day-to-day priorities, monitor progress, and support scheduling.
• Ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Play a key role in coordinating priorities and stakeholder communications.
