Job summary

Effective Building Group (EBG) is seeking a capable building maintenance/management professional to join our Perth team. You’ll deliver a range of maintenance and minor capital works, with hands-on leadership and client liaison.

This role blends office planning, site visits and meetings, coordinating in-house trades and subcontractors, and ensuring safety, quality and progress. This is a permanent full-time, hourly-paid position offering an attractive rate and a clear path for development.

Effective Building Group (EBG) is looking for another capable person to join our growing management team.

We're a Perth-based Registered Builder delivering commercial building maintenance, minor works, refurbishments and building projects, predominantly across government, education and commercial facilities.

We have an established client base, a strong team of in‑house trades, trusted subcontractors and a consistent pipeline of work.

We're looking for someone with practical building knowledge, leadership ability and the initiative to take ownership and get things done.

About the Role

Working alongside our existing management team, you'll progressively take responsibility for delivering a range of building maintenance and minor project and capital works.

Your responsibilities will include:

Inspecting, scoping and quoting works

Planning, scheduling and coordinating projects

Managing in‑house trades, subcontractors and suppliers

Communicating with clients and maintaining relationships

Monitoring safety, quality and project progress

Resolving issues and ensuring works are completed properly

This is a practical, hands‑on management position involving a combination of office‑based work, site visits and client meetings.
