Job summary

PLS is seeking a Training & Development professional to plan, coordinate and deliver the Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) training program. You will ensure all personnel impacted by AHS are trained, assessed and prepared to operate safely in an autonomous mining environment.

Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will lead the training strategy, coordinate vendors and SME input, monitor compliance, and drive safe work practices across operators, supervisors and maintenance teams in

Qualifications

• Led large-scale operational or technology training projects.
• Experience with Autonomous Haulage Systems or autonomous mining tech.
• Experience with INX LMS is highly regarded.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and PM qualifications highly regarded.
• Change management, PM and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project.
• Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the AHS training and competency strategy for readiness.
• Plan and coordinate training schedules, resources, facilities and materials.
• Identify training needs and competency requirements across roles.
• Lead training delivery for operators, supervisors, maintenance, trainers, and support.
• Coordinate vendor, SME and stakeholder involvement in training activities.
• Monitor attendance, progress, competency, and documentation.
• Provide updates on training readiness, risks, issues and progress.
• Support change management to drive workforce adoption of AHS tech.
• Develop assessment processes and ensure competency before operating.
• Promote safe work practices across autonomous operating zones and controls.
