Job summary

NiCE is seeking a Lead AI Software Engineer, CX to drive the delivery of AI-driven and Conversational AI solutions within the NICE CXone ecosystem. This customer-facing role combines hands-on coding with integration work and detailed design documentation.

You will configure deployments, build integrations, and optimize bot behaviors while collaborating with Implementation Engineers and Project Managers to ensure successful outcomes for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience, with 3+ years in digital channels or AI/Bot software applications.
• Strong API integration, front-end basics, conversational UX, and prompt engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and delivery of AI-driven and Conversational AI solutions.
• Build integrations using APIs and modern web technologies; ensure high-quality deployments.
• Develop PoCs and production-ready components; support testing and go-live activities.
• Document specifications, tests, and deployment guides; maintain quality and security standards.
• Collaborate with Implementation Engineers, Consultants and Project Managers on discoveries and designs.
