Job summary

Arcare is seeking a dedicated laundry attendant to support our aged care facilities in Victoria. You will manage the residents' clothing, bed linens and fabric items, ensuring timely washing, drying and distribution for clean, well-maintained textiles.

The role emphasizes adaptability, collaboration, and clear communication within a supportive team, contributing to high-quality resident care and a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Laundry Operations: Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, clothing, towels, and other fabrics used by residents and staff.
• Equipment: Regularly use, clean and maintain laundry equipment, such as washing machines and dryers.
• Lost and Found: Maintain a system for lost and found items to ensure residents' belongings are returned promptly.
