Job summary

Arcare is seeking a Laundry Attendant to join our Adelaide facility. You will manage and maintain laundry services to ensure residents have clean clothing, linens and fabrics, contributing to a comfortable living environment.

Responsibilities include handling laundry operations, equipment maintenance and managing lost and found items, while collaborating with staff and communicating effectively with residents. A supportive workplace with opportunities for development awaits.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the facility's laundry services. This role is crucial in ensuring that the residents have access to clean and well-maintained clothing, bed linens, and other fabric items.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Laundry Operations: Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, clothing, towels, and other fabrics used by residents and staff.
• Equipment: Regularly use, clean and maintain laundry equipment, such as washing machines and dryers.
• Lost and Found: Maintain a system for lost and found items to ensure residents' belongings are returned promptly.
