Job summary

Arcare Aged Care is opening a brand-new residence in December 2026 and seeks a dedicated laundry attendant to support residents and staff. This role offers above award rates, a positive culture, and opportunities for training in a growing organisation.

You will manage linen operations, maintain machines, and ensure lost and found items are returned promptly. Australian Working Rights required. Join a state-of-the-art facility with supportive leadership and a focus on professional development.

Responsibilities

• Laundry operations: collect, sort, wash, dry, fold and distribute linens for residents and staff.

• Lost and found: maintain a system to return residents' belongings promptly.

About The Role

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

• Laundry Operations: Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, clothing, towels, and other fabrics used by residents and staff.
• Equipment: Regularly use, clean and maintain laundry equipment, such as washing machines and dryers.
• Lost and Found: Maintain a system for lost and found items to ensure residents' belongings are returned promptly.
