Job summary

Greenworx in Sydney West is seeking an experienced Team Leader for Landscape Maintenance to oversee gardening and grounds upkeep across client sites. You will lead a small team, ensuring safe, high-standard work and representing the Greenworx brand to clients.

The ideal candidate will reside near St Mary's, Blacktown, Eastern Creek or Horsley Park for easy travel in a company vehicle. Essential experience includes leading hands, brush-cutting, mowing, and safe operations, with a valid manual

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience as Leading Hand Gardener or Team Leader in a maintenance crew.
• Experience in brush-cutting, hedging, edging, mowing, mulching and litter picking.
• Clear communication and problem-solving skills.
• Professional and positive approach with clients and staff.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Valid Driver's License (Manual).
• OHS Induction - White Card.
• Willingness to obtain Working With Children Check, Police Check and Medical Assessment before starting.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks: mowing, edging, blowing; pruning, hedge & tree trimming; weed control (including chemical use); litter picking.
• Uphold Greenworx safety, presentation and client service standards.
• Ensure all garden waste is removed and transferred to authorised waste stations.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles to company standards.

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Team Leader - Landscaping Maintenance to maintain clients' gardens and ground across Sydney's West & South-West incl. commercial estates, retirement villages, schools, business parks and industrial properties.

You will work as a member of a small team, ensuring work is delivered safely and to a high standard. Your landscape maintenance skills, professionalism and ability to represent the Greenworx brand will be essential.

The ideal candidate will reside in close to St Mary's, Blacktown, Eastern Creek or Horsley Park and surrounds, for ease of travel to client sites in a company vehicle.

Essential experience and qualifications:

1 years’+ experience as a Leading Hand Gardener / Team Leader of a maintenance crew

Proven experience of getting the job done - brush-cutting, hedging, edging, mower, mulching, litter picking and blow-downs. No two sites are the same.

Clear communication, and problem-solving skills

A professional and positive approach with clients and staff

Strong safety awareness and attention to detail

Valid Driver’s License (Manual)
