Job summary

Complete Staff Solutions is seeking a Laboratory Relocation Assistant to support a major move from West Ryde to North Ryde. This full-time, temporary role runs through to 31 January 2027 and includes hands-on duties, basic reception support, and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

No lab testing or scientific work is required, but prior lab or equipment experience and customer service skills are valued. Training will be provided and work occurs Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Current drivers licence required.
• Forklift licence desirable.
• Experience in customer service, warehousing, logistics or production or similar hands-on environment preferred.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and consistently.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever required.
• Good communication with team members.
• Careful handling of equipment and materials.
• Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Unpacking laboratory equipment and supplies.
• Move equipment and materials short distances within the laboratory under instruction.
• Support relocation team with general warehouse and logistics tasks.
• Receive and organise deliveries.
• Provide general operational support as required.
• Occasional reception support (answering phones, receiving deliveries).
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and work instructions.
