Job summary

AC by Marriott Gold Coast is seeking a Kitchen Support Expert to join the pre-opening team. You will help maintain clean kitchen areas, support food preparation and stewarding, and assist across kitchen and F&B areas to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Located on the Gold Coast, this part-time position offers an opportunity to contribute from day one while developing hospitality skills, with a friendly, collaborative team and training as part of the Marriott brand.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required.
• Hospitality or kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Food Safety Certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, organised and safe kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Wash, sanitise and store crockery, cutlery, glassware, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support basic food preparation and kitchen organisation when required.
• Assist across kitchen, Food & Beverage and associate dining areas.
• Transport equipment, supplies and kitchen items throughout the hotel.
• Follow food safety, workplace health and safety, and security procedures.
• Support fellow AC Family Members and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.

What You’ll Do

• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
• Previous kitchen, stewarding, cleaning or hospitality experience is advantageous, but not essential.
