Job summary

AC Hotel by Marriott Gold Coast is launching its pre-opening Food & Beverage team. We are looking for Supervisors to lead and support our people across breakfast, dinner, banquets and pool services, ensuring warm, professional and consistent service from day one.

The role is hands-on on the floor, requiring a natural people leader who can motivate the team, manage service periods and help create memorable guest experiences in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Food & Beverage or similar hospitality environment.
• 1+ year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience in restaurant, banquet, bar, pool or high-volume service environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Food & Beverage associates.
• Coordinate opening, closing and daily operational duties.
• Ensure team is prepared, well presented and delivering exceptional service.
• Monitor guest flow, table availability and service standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to feedback or service challenges.
• Support stock control, requisitions, inventories and FIFO procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

We are looking for Food & Beverage Supervisors to lead and support our team across a variety of outlets and service periods, including Breakfast, Dinner, Banquets and Pool.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, supporting their team and creating effortless, memorable experiences for guests.

What You’ll Do

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will help lead the daily operation while ensuring our guests receive warm, professional and consistent service.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a natural people leader who enjoys a fast-paced hospitality environment and is comfortable moving between different styles of service.

• At least 2 years’ experience in Food & Beverage or a similar hospitality environment
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Experience in restaurant, banquet, bar, pool or high-volume service environments
• Strong communication and guest service skills
• Confidence coaching and motivating a team
• Flexibility to work across breakfast, evening, weekend and event shifts
• A genuine passion for hospitality, teamwork and attention to detail
