Job summary

Crowbar Sydney in the Inner West is seeking a passionate cook and kitchen supervisor for our lively music venue and pub, specializing in American Smash Burgers and Fried Chicken. The role covers a 38–40 hour week, with operations from Wednesday to Sunday.

You will be responsible for cooking, plating, and ensuring consistent quality, while maintaining safety standards and managing storage. Join a busy kitchen that values energy, teamwork, and great food.

Responsibilities

• Monitor online ratings and customer feedback.
• Prepare, cook and serve all menu items.
• Maintain the standard and presentation of meals and ensure quality.
• Manage food quality in storage.
• Mitigate food wastage.
• Adhere to and update the Food Preparation, Handling and Storage Policy and safety procedures.
• Maintain OH&S practices in the kitchen.
• Follow food safety requirements.
• Set up kitchen and pack down cleaning after close.

Looking for a passionate cook & kitchen supervisor for our lively music venue & pub in the Inner West, specialising in American Smash Burgers & Fried Chicken.

38-40hrs per week, open Wednesday-Sunday.

Tasks include but not limited to -

• Monitoring online ratings and customer feedback


• Preparing, cooking and service of all menu items


• Maintaining standard and presentation of meals and quality of meals served


• Managing food quality in storage


• Mitigating food wastage


• Adhering to and updating our Food Preparation, Handling and Storage Policy, Safety procedures etc


• Maintaining Occupational, Health and Safety (OH&S) practices in the kitchen


• Following food safety requirements


• Setting up kitchen and pack down cleaning for end of night close
