Job summary

TORRA in Dubbo is seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor for an afternoon to evening shift. You’ll lead the kitchen team, manage service, and keep high standards of food quality in a busy dining environment.

You will monitor hygiene and HACCP compliance, coordinate tasks during peak periods, and support training and onboarding of staff to maintain smooth operations. Local role with no travel and a positive, collaborative team culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supervising and leading the kitchen team during shift


• Cooking and preparing meals during service


• Monitoring food quality, presentation, and portion control


• Ensuring hygiene, food safety, and HACCP standards are followed


• Allocating tasks and supporting staff during peak periods


• Completing end of shift cleaning and stock checks


• Assisting with training and onboarding of kitchen staff

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Cook, Chef, or Kitchen Supervisor


• Strong leadership and communication skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen


• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards


• Reliable and able to commit to afternoon/evening shift hours
