EVT Limited is hiring a Kitchen Hand for Rydges Mount Panorama Bathurst. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean, assist with basic prep, and support the team in daily operations at this serviced hotel in Bathurst. Qualifications

• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to jump in.
• Availability to work casual shifts, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
• Previous kitchen hand or hospitality experience is preferred, but training is provided.
• Good understanding of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to stay on your feet, work at pace and lift and carry.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen, equipment, utensils and work areas clean, tidy and sanitised throughout each shift.
• Wash dishes, cookware, glassware and cutlery promptly, keeping the kitchen stocked with clean items.
• Support chefs with basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling and chopping produce.
• Receive, unpack and store deliveries correctly, rotating stock and following food safety standards.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Manage waste and recycling, and keep storerooms, coolrooms and back of house areas organised.
