Job summary

Rydges Hotels & Resorts is seeking a kitchen-focused hospitality professional to join our restaurant/hotel team. You will work across larder, fryer and grill sections, ensuring food safety and quality across service periods.

With 2+ years of relevant experience, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with colleagues and uphold hotel kitchen procedures and standards. This role is on site in Sydney, NSW, with opportunities for growth within EVT’s network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a restaurant, bistro or hotel.
• Experience across larder, fryer and grill sections.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and WH&S.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple kitchen sections as required.
• Follow hotel kitchen procedures and standards.
• Maintain product knowledge and uphold safety policies.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth service.

Key Responsibilities& Experience

• 2+ years’ worth of experience working in a restaurant, bistro or hotel.
• Experience on multiple sections including larder, fryer and grill.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and WH&S practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and follow kitchen procedures.
• Passion for food preparation and willingness to learn across all kitchen areas.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a professional attitude.
• Comply with hotel policies, WH&S guidelines, and maintain strong product knowledge.
