EVT is seeking a motivated kitchen team member for our Canberra hotels. Join Daymaker culture and contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen while learning and growing in a professional hospitality environment.

You'll assist in kitchen operations, maintain hygiene standards, and support a collaborative team as we deliver warm, memorable experiences across EVT’s entertainment, ventures and travel portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Assist in kitchen operations as directed by the Executive Chef
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Perform cleaning duties and uphold hygiene standards
• Minimise waste and follow standard operating procedures
• Attend training sessions and contribute to a learning‑focused kitchen culture
• Support team harmony and uphold grooming and presentation standards
• Comply with hotel policies and OH&S guidelines
• Respond promptly to guest needs and perform other duties as required
