EVT Limited is hiring a Kitchen Hand for Rydges Sydney Airport, part of our hospitality and entertainment network. You will support daily kitchen operations, assist senior chefs, and help deliver safe, high‑quality meals in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as kitchen hand/steward or similar in a hotel, pub, restaurant, or café.
• Strong understanding of food safety and OH&S standards, with ability to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Ability to support daily kitchen operations efficiently and complete tasks as directed by senior chefs.
• Skilled in minimizing waste through careful handling of food and resources.
• Positive attitude with strong communication skills and ability to foster teamwork within kitchen and service teams.
• Flexible and adaptable to varying shifts and tasks across different areas of the hotel.
• Physically capable of performing manual duties including lifting, standing for extended periods, and cleaning.
• Commitment to professional appearance and adherence to workplace policies and grooming standards.
• Willingness to participate in training sessions to develop culinary skills and grow within the team.
