Rydges Mount Panorama Bathurst is seeking a Kitchen Hand to support our kitchen team with hygiene, dishwashing and prep tasks. This casual role offers practical training and exposure to a busy hotel kitchen.

You will work with a friendly team, contribute to a clean, efficient operation, and help maintain high standards of food safety and customer service across shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen, equipment, utensils and work areas clean, tidy and sanitised throughout each shift
• Wash dishes, cookware, glassware and cutlery promptly, keeping the kitchen stocked with clean items
• Support chefs with basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling and chopping produce
• Receive, unpack and store deliveries correctly, rotating stock and following food safety standards
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
• Manage waste and recycling, and keep storerooms, coolrooms and back of house areas organised

What You'll Bring

• A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to jump in wherever the team needs you
• Availability to work casual shifts, including weekends, evenings and public holidays
• Previous kitchen hand or hospitality experience is preferred, but not essential as training is provided
• A good understanding of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, or a keen willingness to learn
• Ability to stay on your feet, work at pace and lift and carry as required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Right to work in Australia
