Job summary

Green Leaves Group is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Chef/ Cook to support the Centre Chef at Green Leaves Early Learning in Brisbane. The role covers 20-25 hours per week, with shifts from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and includes food prep, meals, and baby/child dietary requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Food Safety Certificate.
• Current Working with Children Check (state-relevant).
• Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012).
• National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months.
• Availability to work 20-25 hours per week.
• Willingness to step up into the Chef's role when needed (6:30 am–2:30 pm).

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of nutritious meals and purees, respecting dietary needs.
• Support the Centre Chef and Educators with culinary classes.
• Greet families with a friendly service and provide barista coffee when required.
• Maintain food safety and a clean, safe kitchen per regulations.
